Chocolate Gravy

Chocolate Gravy

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbs cocoa powder
  • 2 tbs self-rising flour
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  1. Whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, and self-rising flour.
  2. Mix in 1/4 cup of water until a thick paste forms.  (This will prevent lumps in the chocolate gravy.)
  3. Mix in the remaining 2 cups of water.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring often to prevent scorching, until the gravy thickens.
  5. Serve over warm, buttered bisucits.
